Which coding language should my child learn?

Typically, our beginning coders ages 7-10 start in Scratch 1 and any beginnning coders 11+ start in Python 1. If your child already has some coding experience, please let us know when you sign up so we can sign them up for the appropriate level.

How long should my child take Juni’s program?

We believe that kids learn best at their own pace and style. While most of our courses typically take students 6-9 months, we offer plenty of upper level and elective options for whatever your child is interested in learning next. All Juni students can also always keep learning with our community, competitions, and platform resources!

December 2021 Coding Hackathon Winners

December 2021: #CSEdweek

This month, our Coding Hackathon theme was #CSEdWeek, a week that celebrates the beauty of computer science. Students from all over the world participate in coding activities that highlight their potential in being coders and the power of computer science in our world. Inspired by CS Ed Week's Hour of Code, we challenged our students to show us how coding can show up in unexpected places! Students coded a variety of creative projects, including swim times, programming Christmas lights, and even teaching students about different flags! Each submission was evaluated on four aspects: computer science application, computer science relevancy & accuracy, creativity, and presentation.
